Power Stone creator would love to bring the fighting game to Switch - gooderealke
Power Stone creator Takeshi Tezuka would love to bring down the war-ridden stake to the Nintendo Switch, as disclosed in an interview with The Guardian.
Power Pit was a two-instrumentalist 3D beat-em-up from Capcom, with a wacky variety of stages for its even wackier roll to battle it out on. IT was influenced by steampunk tropes and Victorian fiction, bizarrely sufficient. Its designer Hideaki Itsuno claimed that, 'modern-day technology lacks a certain flair — there's impartial no romance to it! So I went with the 19th century, ahead such technology became omnipresent.' The fighters enclosed an adventurer, an aspiring chef, a pirate, a social dancer and ninja, and a swordsman, on with other misfits.
Tezuka thinks IT's high time these characters enter the 21st century. 'I still get messages from fans around the game. People tweet requests to me to cause another Power Stone,' atomic number 2 said, 'Which I'd love to do if I got the chance. It would be a particularly great able for the Nintendo Switch.'
Capcom has quite the collection of fighting games already, merely Power Stone was different to its coevals. Fighters in this game could move all around the stage, and an isometric camera perspective followed the punch-prepared as they went. They had no more special abilities, but they could cull out up chairs, tables, rocks and so along to throw at the opposition. There were also weapons like flamethrowers and miniguns to secure a momentary vantage, as the weapons would break after a few moments. 'We weren't righteous aping current trends or reiterating what had come before, and that has contributed to its lasting appeal,' Tezuka explained.
Maybe the cult standard brawler will rejoi to life on the Nintendo Switch, but for immediately, you could while outside the time watching the Power Stone anime.
